Did you read the article? VEVO one of youtube's biggest revenue streaming channel.

Sony and Universal have the upperhand here.

It's definitely possible that Google could start losing money on Youtube again, who knows?

There is no way to downplay music videos disappearing from Youtube as well as Youtubes second most active channel. Tons of people use Youtube to listen to their favorite songs and each time it loads up it is hosted by VEVO. Anything else gets taken down due to copyright laws.

I think they are going to settle and Universal and Sony will keep VEVO on Youtube but now get a much bigger cut of the profits.
