If that is the criteria, Capcom will not support the Wii U at all this year, everything they already announced is too advanced in development that they will not spend resources making a Wii U version. Maybe they will have something for holiday 2013 and is a big maybe. Late ports could help them fill the gaps, but it should not be a very late port, I think anything released 6 months apart should be fair game. Like DMC in july with all DLC included. |
They never said their U projects would be out in 2013 outside of Tri Ultimate though, late ports generally don't do spectacularly as Mass Effect showed (both 3 on the U and 2 on PS3 suffered hard), this is because it's a new platform and a late port would of sold to the intended fanbase already on other platforms and Capcom seem to be recognizing this. Weighing things up how well would RE6 really do now on any other platform if released late? Most avid gamers would probably not be as interested given the mixed reaction it got.
