As for beer, I drink mostly Michalob Ultra because it's pretty decent for being low carb and it's cheap. If I really want to enjoy it, then I'll get a Pale Ale. I used to drink a lot of Molson, Rolling Rock, and Moose Head.
Of course, living in the South, I often end up with cheap liquor and Sundrop. Sundrop, if you've never had it, is the king of soft drink mixers, hands down. Where I used to work, we stocked Sundrop 2-liters 3-to-1 over Coke or Pepsi just because they'd disappear over the weekend. |
A better way to explain Sundrop is that its Dr Pepper Snapple Group version of Mountain Dew.

Nuh uh. It's nothing like Mountain Dew. MD is syrupy sweet while Sundrop is tart. That's why you can mix Sundrop with all kinds of stuff but Mountain Dew mostly fails in that category. The closest thing to Sundrop I can think of is Squirt, but both the taste and the kick are different.

It might not taste the same but its still similar just like Mello Yellow is Coca Cola's current direct competion to Mountain Dew which also applies of two of their discontinued brands Surge and Vault. Squirt doesn't have a kick to it because it doesn't contain any caffein but they did have a caffinated version on the market for about a year called Squirt Cirtus Power which is one of the best discontinued sodas ever it ranks right up there with Pepsi Blue, Red Fusion and Dr Pepper Berries & Cream in my opinion.
