Wait are you guys really expect the Last of Us to only sell 300 k units first week in USA when it already has over 85k preorders 20 weeks before launch and before the marketing really starts. Thats a low estimate if you ask me. This will get 300k preorders alone so i expect first week sales more in the range of 450k-600k. And worldwide i think 800k-1.2million is possible if you ask me.
And dont get me wrong. Maybe i see it a liitle bit different than others God of War 3 had a 15 -20 minute demo months before release plus more of the singleplayer was shown so that was one of the main reasons there preorders were so high weeks before launch. Considering this fact i think Ascension is beasting. And normally i dont give JustThat gamer right but its true the main reason for people to buy God of War is the singleplayer and yet we have only seen about 6 minutes of it.Plus this game will most likely get a good marketing push from sony.
