All my stuff is formatted FAT32 and I have no problems with any of my devices. It's been my default for so long, I forgot to mention it. This should fix it.

Type of video is important as well, but from your description I think it's a file system issue.

Double this.

You need special software to format any drive over 32gb to FAT32, it's a pain in the arse.
