When did i say animals are going to bust out and start singing please do show me?. I said just cos an animal cant talk doesnt mean it cant think thoughts and unless you can show me something showing this statement to be false how can you tell me i am wrong?.
As an animal owner i know my pet can think.
Also my dogs breed is older then you or me and as a dog owner i never breeded my dog into anything so i dont see how things people did 100's of years ago has any effect on me now. Its not the same thing in the least as like you said yourself if alot of the dogs today wasnt looked after they would die. they are not being breed to be killed.

My comments have been mostly directed at your projecting human thought and emotions on to animals. Your first said your dog cares about you and if I had a dog i would know that... well I don't have a dog anymore but I had a doberman and now I have 3 cats. I love my cats they are friendly. But the only reason they care at all is because A. our ancestors made them. and B. they know where their food comes from. Animals aren't capable of higher thought that you make them out to have. They have basic desires and instincts such as reproducing and surviving. My comment about the wolves was because you asked why your dog cares about you but at one point yor dog was just like those wolves. They didn't once sa "we like humans lets live alonside them" we broke them like the animals they were to not care about being wild beasts anymore. You support breeding animals as pets but not food? That's very hypocritical. A pet is just a slave to keep you happy. Nothing more. As for the Disney comments is because your comments really have a tone that you think to the contrary of my above statements. You make it seem like animals have a higher thought process... therefore I brought it to an extreme. You said they once had friends, well I'm sorry but the only time I saw animals being all chummy with each other is in a Disney movie.

See how they hug each other once let free?. Im pretty sure if i take the time i can find videos of Dogs ssaving other dogs lifes when the is no need to (Or could they be friends?) and well lots of videos can be found of animals playing and carring for each other.
All im saying is how to you know what an Animal is thinking?, How do you know they have no basic higher thought = to babys for some and maybe kids for others?.
