I'd actually say it's my favourite Zelda now. It has flaws, but when you go back and replay some of the older ones, those weren't flawless either.

SS's biggest flaw, in my opinion, was the sky part. It's empty and tedious to travel.

But the overall structure of the game, the combat, the variety, the level design were all mindblowingly good. No other game compares. It blurred the line between overworld and dungeon, and the "overworld" areas were multilayered and reused in a way that made you really feel like you really know the place. My favourite parts were always the ones leading up to the dungeons.

I think many didn't have the patience to sit through the slightly slow opening hours. But the bad sales mean that most people didn't even try it, and that's so sad because they have no idea what they're missing.
