Anyone ever feel like you need to act like a thug to have a conversation with poor people?

I know lots of educated poor people, almost all of them graduate students who can talk your ear off an any given topic... intelligently. They also work 60 to 80 hour weeks to bring in less money than someone serving coffee in a doughnut shop part time. Poverty does not equal lazy does not equal dumb.
