Very true.  But, when you outsell your competition by over 1.2M for just one year, then yea, that's domination. 

No. It's not.  Domination would be controlling the market a la PS2. Nothing has come within the vicinity of domination. PS3 sure hasn't dominated the 360 anywhere other than Japan. 

are you kidding. ps3's been dominating 360 all year round worldwide.

43% marketshare v 38%.  Yep... that obliteration right there.  I say again, go look the word up.  Doniation would result in controlling the market, dictating software releases, getting massiuve 3rd party support.  It just hasnt happened this gen.

Seriosly, nothing has dominated anywhere since the PS2... perhaps the 3DS will achieve it over the Vita but nothing else will that is currenty selling.

The DS, I am pretty sure it is safe to say, dominated.

Definition of console from dictionary(.)com: "an electronic device for playing video games, usually requiring connection to a television."

A hand held gaming device is indeed, a console.
