Its doing well, except in Europe.

+1

What troubles me is what the reason is for such a mediocre launch in Europe. I want to belive gamers are waiting for more exclusives or just third party games in general. But it looks like gamers in Europe would rather buy PS3's than the nexer next gen WiiU.

Nintendo will be fine in the U.S. and Japan. But, if we jump the gun now, EU will cripple the WiiU long term.

Yeah, we can point at the economic crisis, no good exclusives or whatever, but I guess we can only wait and see how the next gen from MS/Sony will do, and judge Wii U by those numbers

I think Kitler is right. In genereal, next gen sales in total will be less than this gen, and the first time we will see a decline (and like you said there are many factors that can be debated)

Vita will sell less than PSP

3DS should sell less than DS (Can it have 20m or 30m year(s)?)

Will the WiiU sell less than the Wii?

And of course, how will the PS4 and NextBox do compared to their predecessors?

Time will tell.

I actually don't think we'll see a decline at all. Perhaps no growth, but no decline either - unless Sony or MS finds something comparable to motion controls to push their systems. The handhelds might sell less though... hard to tell right now.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
