| RolStoppable said: Nice graph there, konnichiwa. Did you notice how long the lifespan of a winning Nintendo console is (NES, SNES)? So why do you assume that the Wii (which is a winning console, whether you like it or not) won't last at least for 7 years? |
1. Yes I notice but then Nintendo really don't had any concurrention at that time.
2. The most people on this site don't had a Snes. The most started with an Playstation, N64.
3. It is to early to predict everything. To early to know how the market will react if they can't buy
an game like GTA...What will wii players do? Will they buy a X360 or an PS3 for those games?
Many people say that some Xbox fans and PS fans bought an Wii but will those fans also buy an PS3 or X360 later.
The Wii is an incridible machine but will it last for years? Will Nintendo release a Wii 2 in a couple of years that can
play games like GTA 4.... I think that there will be a Wii 2 somewhere in 2010 with the same hardware like a PS3 or an X360 that they can sold for less than 300 bucks. Nintendo fans can buy 2 consoles around a periode of five years for the same price like a PS3 or an X360. Why would Nintendo not do that? Do you think they say 'We want that Wii becomes the best selling machine of all time'?
