exactly. i'm not really for or against guns. a vast majority of gun owners are responsible and should be able to continue their hobby. a true nut job can kill someone with or without a gun.
smart gun laws, imo, shouldn't about reducing or increasing guns, it should be about idenifying the responsible gun owners from the malicious ones. i favor gun licensing not because i give a shit about who owns a gun or what they do with it on their own time... i just every gun owner to have to have a reasonable amount of process to A) ensure proper education and B) have a chance for someone to raise a concern from the one or two crazies out there they may attempt to obtain one.
the real key is to try and find those crazies, not impeding on normal citizen's freedoms.
