The only guns I own are paintball guns.
Point being, this is not a black and white issue. It should remain a state issue and not a federal issue. Ghetto places in very urban enviornments are the places guns are usually used for murder in the streets. In more rural regions, guns are primarily used for protection, hunting and sport. The owners are usually well educated in gun safety and have often grown up shooting them their whole lives. Worry about your state not the country, it is too large and varied of one to apply stricter gun rules too every state.
