People just don't give anything any time. Ps3 will fail. 3ds will fail. Vita will fail. Now wii u will fail. People are comparing consoles with established branding and marketshare to a newly released console and already calling it a failure. It is very rare for a system to sell like wildfire as soon as it releases.
With the games on offer, the price being perceived as fair and the fact it sold out in several places it has definitely been a more successful launch then 3ds and vita.
One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D
