Sales are flatlining, nintendo fans are fearful, and in reality everyone from consumers to developers is anticipating PS4/720.
This was really the only hand nintendo had left to play, adapting their handheld strategy to a home console. It's not going to work, that's obvious. Nintendo has a seemingly awful track record with third parties at this point that the "bridges" have been burned both ways. There is not going to be "widespread" third party support for wiiu, there just wont be. No evidence to even support a half-assed delusional argument against this lol.
There isn't a single killer ap for the wiiu. I couldn't name a single game that rivals a "Halo" or "Uncarted." They don't exist. Wii, for the most part, solidified nintendo consoles as "secondary cosoles." Your primary is always going to be PlayStation/Xbox and if you have enough change laying around you could buy this "nintendo thing" as well.
Nintendo dug their own grave. It's a new generaton approaching, and it looks like nintendo won't be playing much of a role.
