The Wii U is being outsold by last gen consoles? And what of it?

Why is the 3DS outselling the Vita? Nintendo fooled the people once with the DS, Why are they fooling the people again?

My point was that Motion control (while revolutionary) was a gimmick. I can't speak on behalf of others, but after buying my Ps3 I never touched my Wii again. 

Now with Wii U, they have a 2nd screen gimmick. It's a cool concept and all, but a gimmick nonetheless. 

What gimmick are you suggesting the DS had?
