Panama said: I only have one gripe and it's the latency between what's displayed on the Pad and TV. It's incredibly noticeable in NSMB U, I tend to play only off the Pad as a result.
Other than that I enjoy being able to play lying down on my bed.
Wtf!? I've played on the TV using the pad as the controller and I've played on the controller with no TV at all and I've never had a problem! Also, since the Wii U controller is getting its image from the console that's connected to the TV, you'd expect the controller image to lag, not the TV!
You TV settings, perhaps?

Could be. Any idea what it is? The TV is on default settings so I don't really know. I'm using the Nintendo packed in HDMI but I doubt that's what's wrong.

(Posting on PC and not Wii U, now)
I know that my TV has certain settings for movies and sports that does something to automatically smooth out the footage or something. I'd have to look at the manual or something to see what the setting is--haven't changed 'em since I got my TV in February. Anyway, I think it's called "Precision Mode" and it actually makes video games look like they have frame rate issues. I got a Vizio XVT 3D something or other. Check your manual and let me know if it helps.

I'll look into this regardless, I think some of my PS3 games have framerate issues when they shouldn't since I have a new Super Slim. My TV is a bit of an odd one.
