If those numbers are correct highly doubt all of them are for kids, the first game came out in 2001, so those "kids" most be at least 15-16 years old (assuming they had 4-5 years when they played the first game). An this game doesn't have a lot of marketing (outside of gaming websites I supposse) so I don't think many "new" kids know about this game (even more so considreing we're still a lot of time from launch date). 

Besides I don't think kids even pre-order games lol

Well that's why I brought up the kids telling their parents. BUT ANYWAY. Hopfully it's a great game and deserves all it's sales let's not argue anymore Mr. Nintendo fan :)
