Wii U is now 1 month old and has sold 1.8 million units. How is it doing?

Why compare the Wii U's launch to what happend 6 years ago when the economy was very different? The Wii U also is directly competing against the 360 and PS3 - the PS3 and 360 where not directly competiting against the PS2. The Wii U is being outsold by it's 6-7 year old rivals, showing that people are more interested in the old then the new right now. As we are approaching the holiday season, that is even more concerning.

It's only concerning for you.  Because you are the one making spurious assumptions and conclusions. 

You came to that conclusion how exactly......? Making a statement followed by an unsubstantiated explanation only can be deemed as a personal attack rather then a logical/sensible statement.
