True, it's no Retina Display but it still looks great. Considering that you can get a "pad" with a built in controller, NFC, rumble, etc. as well as an HD console that may or may not have untapped potential for $300-$350, I think the sacrifices has to be made somewhere. I'm still impressed by it and games running on the pad often look better than on the TV due to the smaller-scale of the screen.
