Shouldn't the number of the first year count for more than numbers in 2nd and 3rd year, when a game could be heavily discounted. You would indeed be talking more revenue from a game that is front loaded, I don't see why it counts less in total sales terms though as its still a unit sold. If you were to try crunching the numbers to see which profited more it might matter but then you'd fancy GT5's lower budget would offset that anyway.
