Looking at the actual number it's a little difficult to think the VGC is overtracking the PS3... if it was in one region then it is undertracking in another.

Sony shipped 70 million units in 4th November... we have 67.8m sold for 3rd November... 2.2 million on shelves... I can't see overtracking here.

 

Yea, I hihgly doubt we're overtracking.  Overall, VGC is probably either spot on or slightly undertracked.
