Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire (Gen III) are my favourites, Gen IV was fairly crap in comparison. But so far, I'd say Gen V has brought the most to the table. Everything that made the past games great, add in the Movie Studios, more of a story-focus and the best set of spin-offs the series has ever seen (Conquest, the new Mystery Dungeon, all it needs now is a new Snap) and you have a fantastic generation.
