well yes you would be worried,i remember the PSP had a must have buzz early on,if the vita does half the PSP it will have done well but thats not good enough for all concerned

i keep getting told the end is nigh for dedicated handheld so i'm assuming this is sony last handheld machine, they'll probably merge with a phone in the future if they stay with it and you are connected to PSN

unless a sony handheld is going to be dirt cheap what is the future against the pad/smart market

yea, Sony actually might have dropped the ball a bit by not making the Vita a full blown phone with android support, but I guess it could've scared off publishers as they'd have to compete against the $1 or so android market games (which sony doesn't profit from either) and made the system way more vulnerable to hacks and such

i think there will always be a dedicated fanbase for handhelds but where/how it works for sony i'm not sure, hopefully the vita can be helped with connectivity to the PS3/PS4 but i read that it is difficult for the PS3 and basically not worth it

i don't use handhelds or game on smartphones so i don't know where the balance is on what people would want at some point they might just sell their games through the psn to all the mobile devices but they'll probably go for a phone hybrid first
