don't know about usa but in germany, crime rates are decreasing. that's what the “bundeskriminalamt“ is saying and they know it better as some people writing an article.
here in germany we have the same problem with video game discussions if something like the massacre in usa happens, probably even worse here. “he had violent games at home“ ohh really? i would say it would be almost a wonder if a 17 years old or so wouldn't have those games at home, if for a console or at least pirated for pc.
i don't even want to deny that people who do something like this have maybe a big interest in those games but that should be the same with movies and music but that doesn't mean that they bought that stuff as nice guy and transformed in a killer.
