I actually think the $299 model now is the best value. You get to save $50 that you can use towards a 1-2TB external hard drive. 32GB on the Deluxe is still useless and NintendoLand is not a killer game worth buying for the bundle. I think they'll drop the price by $50 by the time PS4/Xbox 720 launch but I think it would still be better to keep the 8GB model and drop it to $249. Nintendo's main chance to compete in 2013 will require price cuts anyways. If they drop the console to $249, PS4/Xbox 720 won't touch that, allowing Nintendo to stay in the game for budget conscious consumers.
