I was in Boston watching the Pats game with a bunch of friends. Even though it sucks that the Pats lost, that was a very entertaining game. The 49ers defense stepped up big time, but that come back would have been one for the history books if Brady had pulled it off. That punt return and then the holding call on our kickoff at the end killed us though. Even though Pats lost I still feel as if their the best team in the AFC. I have a feeling we might meet the 49ers in the Superbowl. Unless falling to the three seed and having the play Manning in Denver screws us over.

I guess the 49ers didn't do so bad afterall, since the Pats are a "horrible matchup" for them, right? ;-p

It was a good game though and I had a good time watching it. LaMichael James came through with a nice kick return after that game tying score. I'm really glad the 49ers picked him up out of Oregon, and he's doing well replacing the injured Kendall Hunter.

@zuvuyeay: People picked against them, because of how bad they played last week against Carolina. Houston as well, but they handled Indy this week. That's also why so many people picked the Pats. After they manhandled Houston last week, everybody thought they were going to do the same to the 49ers. I saw an espn poll before the game and only 2 states picked the 49ers to win.

yes they did have a bad game but they walloped NYG at home,i was just surprised(easy to know afterwards) as they are topping the NFC,i can undrestand why people back new england, though it does seem they go down if they can't score first and get underway

NYG have fallen quite far this year,i think amp said at the beginning they are one of the best NFL teams, only 12 teams make the paly offs right, will be tough, not sure if they have to meet but san francisco and green bay look good for that conferencce championship game
