So just 1 Vita game in the Top 40 and 1 WiiU game in the top 40

Whilst it is bad for both, its a lot, lot worse for the Vita imo. It has been out for 10 months!

Its not worse for vita, there has been no material change in the system's price all year.  The Wii U has all the top 3rd party titles for this year (including a better version of Call of Duty with Assassin's creed, Fifa 13 ) and a new 2D mario game.  Lets try to be pragmatic just this once.

I disagree.

The Vita install base is triple or more, it has a COD bundle, it has FIFA, AC and numerous quality exclusives.  It also has much, much, much more marketing than WiiU.  The WiiU ads in the UK are rare and, frankly, a bit shit.

edit* On second thoughts, you are right.  Its a sony handheld. They just dont get traction in the UK.  Never have, never will.

I think you disagree because you have to put sony in a negative light any chance you can.  Sony's official second handheld (mired by issues self-inflicted, which can be corrected over time) not gaining tracking in the UK is not going to make Sony sweat at all.  The Wii U failing to gain traction in the UK and europe as a whole (where 30+% of their total sales come from) will have Nintendo scrambling.
