I think it will its already doing great overseas and I'm guessing it will have even better legs then Skyfall and will probably end up slightly ahead of LOTR: The Return of the King world wide.

Hobbit doesn't have the same appeal as the lord of the rings

Anyways i could easily see the hobbit doing better in north america, but not worldwide.
