I've said the same thing, i made all these threads and if 20 people vote 2 maybe 3 will say why! Look at this thread i made also http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=151451&page=1
Almost 400 votes, Even though 100 people said under 4mil for vita next year only like 4 or 5 people listed why!
I don't know, i've never understood it. Even when people comment half of them still give no reason. They just say something short which basically is like a vote.
I actually have stopped using polls because i feel that it disables a lot of the discussion.

I feel ya, I make up threads to see votes but i also want to see why you would vote for it (in detail). Im no expert in the sony/microsoft department but if i vote or say why i choose something i'll have a reason to back up my statement.
Like i said in the vita thread if there is no price cut and no high quality games (god of war or gta) or even sequels (AC liberation and uncharted) and they dont give free memory cards or lower the price vita wont sell 4mil next year. But i believe by 2nd quarter Sony will drop the price (being on the market for a year counting NoA) and maybe bundle some games (maybe)! If they release good games then maybe vita will push over 8mil but i'll go with just under 7.5mil.
People need to just post, especially the ones that pick the crazy choices. IMO.

Well I'm glad to see some people doing this. Their is some really good posters on vgchartz and I'll consider you one.
As far as the Vita it depends on what games are announced along with memory card pricing and a price cut. I don't know if they are financially able to drop the price though. So it really dpends on what they announce coming next year before I make a choice on that. If they release a metal gear solid, gran turismo, monster hunters, final fantasy, or any kind of big hitter wether it is in the U.S., Europe, or Japan you could see some spikes throughout the year. However they can't just rely on 1 game to do this. I think it all comes down to strategicly bringing big games to different territories next year to see the Vita successful next year.
Say if they release Gran Turismo for it then itll have a spike in Europe mainly. A Metal Gear Solid will help it spike in America, and Monster Hunters or Final Fantasy will help it in Japan. Who knows what they have in store though
