For example, kinect and elite was 199 this year and at release was like 349. What i mean yo say is that neither console has a SKU below 199. Their consoles drop in price, but never below that point. |
Actually, MS dropped the 360's price in the US by $50 sometime in Oct. They were supposed to only last through the holiday season. However, given the drop in sales, even with the price cut, I'm thinking they may make them permanent. I'm surprised the PS3 has done so well with no price cut and the new entry price is $270, with Uncharted 3. I was predicting a $199 SKU this year (they only had on available for Black Friday), but I guess Sony is making profit a priority this holiday season. Can't wait to see sales next year when they actually drop to $199.
