Nope. No one has a  "perfect" record. I know my N64's reset button was stuck. The analog stick also sucked ass(as in most of my controllers broke at some point).
Every single console has had its share of problems. Nothing compares to RROD though. Microsoft will probably hold that records forever.

You can actually get ball type analoge sticks for N64 controllers now, similar to GCN.

Only thing I dont know is how accurate it is, as obviously the design is different

e.g when I played zelda OOT on N64 vs gcn version I felt liek the controls were designed to wrk with the original stick. The ball stick in the gcn felt liek it wasn tas accurate when moving around. COuld be just my imagination though lol.

I dont' have the N64 anymore and I certainly wouldn't buy anything for it. It's 2012...
but that wuld have been a great thing way back then.
