This guy bases his entire premise on the GamePad being invented to compete with the iPad. He apparently isn't aware that Iwata and Miyamoto came up with the GamePad idea in 2008, before the iPad even existed. It's not meant to be a tablet or to compete with tablets. It's meant to be a game controller that allows for asymmetrical gameplay. This entire article is hogwash.
