Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story are prime examples of new Nintendo IPs last gen, as are the Wii Sports and Wii Fit franchises. Nintendo Land is a new IP this gen too. We'll have more new Nintendo IPs coming this gen as well as the return of some favourites. Nintendo have the strongest and most IPs in the business so it would be pretty daft of them not to release new iterations every gen.
