I think in that case you would start talking about 7th gen systems as "last gen" when a bulk of the tech is 8th gen. So lets say the PS4 launches autumn 2013 but the 720 launches spring 2014. I think then you could say that the 360 is "last gen" because then two of the big three consoles are 8th gen.
