It's all economic? So it's more effecient for use to do the law enforcers job then having a investigation then having criminal charges then having jail time? It really isn't economic at all.
Even if there were strict gun laws there would still be guns. See link earlier in this thread about UK gun laws and gun violence. They would still get guns. Killing cops and taking thiers would be an easy way to get a gun.
Good for corporations... They have a market good for them with making money.
