Kenology said: Nope. If it dies, just call Nintendo, they'll ask you to send it in and they'll check it out to see what's wrong with it. If it died due to system failure (something internal breaking, disc drive not reading discs, etc.), they'll just replace it for you.
I was going to send in my Wii U when I thought it was defective. Again. No charge.

wow thats great service ... never had too deal with them since they wont break in the first place for me :)
had to replace a few ps360 though and had too pay for them if they were out of warrenty ... but since you can sell the controller/hdd/stuff it comes with the repair costs were not that bad. (but still bought a new one for each)
