If by best you mean one of the far worse pieces of hardware in the history of hardware, then yeah.

I am sorry but the fail rate of over 50% is something that will forever stay with the 360.

Yet despite that it still managed to have more lifetime sales then the former #1 brand in gaming for the past 2 generations.....

People prefer faulty hardware to a functional PS3.....that in itself says something.

Or maybe people having to buy more than one 360 inflated sales? I've never met someone who bought a pre-slim 360 and didn't have to replace it. I know people on their 3rd, 4th and even in one case 6th 360 because they broke. It gets to a point where you have a collection of 20 or so games for the 360 so making a switch doesn't make sense. 


I have 3, 2 have never had any issue (both HDMI models) and a 2006 that RROD in 2009 and was fixed under warranty and has been fine ever since.  If you've had more than 3 failures you need to start looking at environmental contributing factors (hot/cold temperatures, lack of circulation, misuse).  Of course a lot of these horror stories are people buying second hand too thinking the console was unreliable so try and get it cheaper which puts them at a higher risk of failure also.  If you've had 5 360's fail then you're misusing them imo.
