Ok, I'll bite.
-YLOD was in no way comprable to the RROD. Not even close.
-Yes PS3 did lose billions, but then again so did the Xbox 360. More than $1 billion to cover the RROD repairs. Then there's all the money they lost on 360 in its first few years since it was sold at a loss. Both are losers in this case.
-Vita is having a very tough time taking off. Same thing happened with the 3DS but Nintendo was selling it at loss so they took the price cut plunge. It's not an option for Sony yet. 3DS is having a pretty tough time in the West at the moment..But why are we talking abou this? This is completely off-topic.
