Ninty obviously is going to suffer due to the strony Yen, but yeah, I can't see Nintendo stock rising by any significant amount any time soon - the wii u has yet to really show any sign of being "next-gen" and until it does, investors and gamers alike won't be crazy for it.

You really want to look at a problem, guess who most video game investors get their advice from...Michael Pachter.  Didn't he say a few days ago that Nintendo is irrelevant?

Well Pachter has a point here. Nintendo have been flogging the same tired franchises for decades as well as having a 3rd entry into the "gimmick" market. Only time will tell if that will pay off, but considering the reaction in Europe, it looks like people are tired of them.
