I hope for Sony that those rumors are not true.
If Msoft planned to start mass producing the chips by now, then its launch would have been at worst Q4 2013, but more likely mid-2013 (otherwise why would they have started the mass production now, to leave them waiting in a warehouse?). With the delays, a late 2013 release seems more likely.
So is those rumors are true, Sony could be 6 or maybe even 12 months late compared to Msoft. If that happens they can say goodbye to NA, and maybe even the UK.
Btw, does anyone know if GloFo has moved to 28nm yet? I'm asking because its AMD CPUs and APUs are still 32nm much to their dismay, and those rumors say that Sony's chips will be made there using 28nm.
