Nintendo probably needs to whip the horses a bit and make Mario Kart U priority no.1 for the company. They need to get that game out as soon as possible especially for Japan.

If that means having Retro Studios lend EAD some extra staff or using some temp Japanese staff (perhaps some of the new staff that's supposed to be going into their new building in 2013 can start now).

I would double the staff of Mario Kart U to be honest. Nintendo can more than afford it, but they need to get this game out as quickly in the life cycle as possible (it will sell forever after that, so that's fine).

Dragon Quest X is good, but it's likely to have a roof of about 500k-600k, because it's a paid MMORPG, rather than a normal DQ, which is too bad for Nintendo's purposes.

Pikmin never has been a big seller in Japan, which leaves Wii Fit U, and I think there's a fair chance that has a big decline like Brain Training and Nintendogs have had on 3DS.

Outside of that they don't have much for next year, particularly Jan-June ... they need to focus on this period and get not just games that take up space on a release list, but games that will drive hardware sales.
