If we take in to consideration that Wii U only were available for 2 days in Europe, and still outsold Xbox360 and is lagging behind the PS3 with 50k, I'd say that's pretty good numbers...! Will be interesting to see Europe's 2nd week and the launch of Japan...

But how come Wii U dropped to horrific in NA?

It's not really good.....it had months and months of pre-orders. Expect a huge drop next week just like in the US.
It dropped in the US because the demand just isn'st there. The Wii U is NOT a must-have console this holiday and the $300-$350 price is too high for a Nintendo console. Expect another 3DS-like situation here with the consumer confusion.

Still sold much better than both PS3 AND xbox360. Only combined PS360 sold SLIGHTLY better than Wii U in its first week. Granted I'm talking about the US launch regarding these numbers. And in its second week in the US it has actually GAINED an even larger leap over either of PS3 or xbox360, and only  by combining the numbers of PS360 are they outselling Wii U, and not even by a great deal then. Wii U have had a much better launch than either of PS3 and xbox360 - and that's a fact. It's only a disappointment by comparing it with the Wii, and then PS3 has to be an even greater failure when compared to PS2. Do YOU see the PS3 as a failure? I don't.

And I don't think Wii U will be anything at all like the 3DS, considering up to  this point the 3DS has actually outsold its predecessor, and I don't think the Wii U will do that...

So everything you say is wrong. That whole post is wrong.

Just my opinion.

Just look at Wii U's price point....is it really something to brag about that it outsold the launch of the $400 360 or $600 PS3 in America?
Do I see the PS3 as a failure? Depends. If I compare it to the PS3 then yes it is a failure.

Also, its worth keeping in mind that however "horrible" the 360 and PS3 launches were, they were "saved" by amazing 3rd party support and games like Call of Duty. We don't know how good 3rd party support will be on Wii U, but if we look at the history of Nintendo, it probably wont' be very good compared to the competition.

Which means it'll be saved by Ninty themselves lol. Like the 3DS was and the Vita was saved by....

Also you guys have the most excuses in the world. Why does it matter how much they cost? It was their choice. So yes the WiiU having a better launch than them in the US is just as amazing as the PS3 having a better launch in Europe. Japan will make the deficit even worse lol. The WiiU's global launch will be better than theirs, deal with it.

Yeah, it probably will. All praise Nintendo.
