This is obviously a subjective question, but I still get annoyed at people who make it seem like it's not. For EITHER side. I facepalm when people say the 3DS is better objectively because A, B, and C. I pity those who say Vita is objectively better because A, B, and C.
For 3DS, people usually mention games, 3D, just because Nintendo, and a handful of games they prefer themselves, as well as a few insults to the Vita.
For Vita, people usually boast the specs and the screen, plus the backtouch screen, and some of them mention it is the more "core" console and a few games they prefer. Vita owners more often than 3DS ones put down the 3DS because there are more legitimate points. However, there are flaws of both systems and it annoys me that many Vita owners try to deny it (and those occasional 3DS owners who think the 3DS is actually stronger than the Vita).
Personally, I currently think the 3DS is better. The PS Vita has some good games coming, but it still doesn't beat what the 3DS has for me.
