It's interesting to note where the most complaints about this thread are coming from.
As for the OP, 2013 is going to be really, really interesting. Will the next Gear's title do anywhere near the numbers of Gears 3? Will it move a significant amount of hardware? Likewise, will the PS3's stellar array of exclusives make that big of a difference on a lame duck console? I know everyone expects the PS3 to do significantly better than the 360 in Q1-Q2, but will it be a massive difference? If the PS3 gets a permanent price-cut, then I think it will finish at least 1.5 M units ahead of the 360 in 2013, probably more. However, I don't think it will overtake the 360 until 2014. We're going to be dealing with much lower numbers for both once the next gen versions are released, so even with a much higher sales rate it's going to take awhile.
