I get why the Wii U versions falter a bit.
They're not the main versions, and with the Wii U's slower CPU but faster GPU, games have to be resturctured a bit, and this takes time.
Furthermore, the demographics owning Nintendo consoles tend to not be quite as critical about minor technical shortcomings, focusing more on visual style.
Lastly, complaining about the multiplats on a Nintendo system is almost a moot point. Of course, when Reggie goes out of his way to say the games are "better" on Wii U, you HAVE to contest it, but it really doesn't speak against the machine's general qualities that games made to look good on other systems don't look exactly as good on Wii U.
