Conegamer said:The only reason people are citing the Vita as a 'failure' is because of its relative sales to its predecessor and to its direct competitor, which shows the market is (mostly) still there, but the Vita can't capitalise on it.

It is actually vita third parties will be paying more attention to. 3ds is selling more software and they won't ignore that. Capcom's terrible sales have already caused vita to miss a late release of revelations. Then you have to consider that the games sony promoted as the system sellers have sold terribly for sony systems. If vita hasn't picked up by march sony will be left to juggle it on their own.

Bioware said they were happy with mass effect 3 and have more plans for wii u. So either it has sold badly or they had no expectations of it in the first place. It will be late 2013 where third parties start to note trends with wii u and they still won't have a clear indication of how software performs on the others. Right now people should focus on vita. That is what companies are looking at.

Certainly huge franchises like assassin's creed and call of duty flopping doesn't look good for wii u but it looks much worse for vita. Vita has had far more then enough time to pick itself up. If they can't sell on vita then what can?

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D
