ioi really overtracked WiiU software by alot. (except Nintendo Land and Scribblenauts)

Original data:

New Super Mario Bros. Wii U - 316,344 (adjusted to 266,344)
ZombiU - 91,394 (adjusted to 78,965)
Call of Duty: Black Ops II - 51,904
Just Dance 4 - ~32,504
Epic Mickey 2 - ~40,000 (adjusted to 29,577)
Batman: Arkham City - 29,272
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - 35,000 (adjusted to 21,062)
Skylanders: Giants - ~21,918
Assassin's Creed III - ~50,000 (adjusted to 25,858)
Sing Party - ~17,553
ESPN Sports Connection - ~21,000 (adjusted to 17,690)

WiiU 1,139,618 (adjusted to 1,051,819)

NPD numbers would suggest another 100k lower.

I think the partial blame here is because Gamestop HYPED UP the numbers  they sold

Remember their statements 500K WiiU preorders and 1.2million software sold. Who ever calculated tha tin their office should be fired.

Now if gamestop was managing such numbers people assumed that with other retailers factored in (other retailers making up say 50% share), WiiU sold around 700K-800K units and probably 2.5million software.
