I think they may dominate the japanese home console market with WiiU even harder than they did with the Wii. The Wii managed to slowly get all the major franchises for that particular market on board, but with the WiiU they are there from the get go and several of the smaller ones might take the leap aswell, especially because it probably has a year or more headstart on Sony's next console.
In my opinion there is just no way for Sony to come back from that, so I'm pretty certain at the end of the new console cycle japanese home console market shares are about 70/26/4, while this gen it might end with 54/40/6.
