From the comments it seems this key can be used to play wiiu games also. I know they already had hacked to play wii games before but this is a newer development. I am just going by the comments mind you :D I'm no tech guy

The links on the comment don't provided any real information (only the video). The only thing this guys had to do is figure out how implement homebrew inside the Wii channel on the Wii U (which can probably be done with a normal SD card).

yeah people are arguing about what this could really mean now. I don't understand most of it lol 

either way I hope this is not true. I love my psp so I know first hand how fucking awful the harm done by piracy can be. DOesn't matter which company or which console. I don't approve of it

I don't think the piracy would be as bad on Wii U. PSP's problem (especially early on before PSN really became established, of course, even after that because of the high cost of memory sticks) was that going legit was generally much more inconvenient than piracy, due to UMDs and such. With full digital-download support and full, non-proprietary memory options, it's easier to stay on the straight and narrow here.

Plus Nintendo's going to send the mandatory updates flying in thick and fast.
